We have always been stuck with traditional shopping on malls, it great that we now have online shopping as an alternative. They give them a chance to have a feeling that they are in control of their time. This will surely help anyone who don't have usual schedule. They can be the customers who are usually asleep during mall hours. Probably they are the ones who only have free time at night. This kind of lifestyle makes it hard for them to address their shopping needs. This is an absolute truth for some of us. As a result, they can only shop when they are actually free. This makes it very tough for them unlike for others. The Ecommerce Industry is now reaching an all time high. The local online market is now populated by a lot of online stores. Shopping online has just started last year. It actually started when this online mall came in to the picture a year ago. They were the only online shopping mall that caters to the local online community.

Lazada do not only exist in Philippines but in other countries in Asia. When they arrived across in South East Asia, Ecommerce never looked back on their rise. They truly made an impact in the Asian market. Competition was really low at that time so it was a perfect timing for them. However, online shopping was never highly thought off in the Philippines. The local online market never was fund of doing online transactions when they arrived. It's actually hard for them to risk their credit card details when purchase online since it may get hacked online. The fact that majority of the local community are not credit cardholders makes it hard for local online users to pay online. Evidently, this is why the industry in Ecommerce struggled to grow in the country. We don't even have any experience in online shopping. If only we can look past the doubts and actually focus on how we can benefit from it. Ecommerce was stagnant also because we don't trust online stores. We tend to stereo type all online stores as a store who rips off their customers.

These are enough reasons to convince an online business that putting up business online in the country will be tough. Good thing that Lazada offered an alternative payment method that will solve the entire existing local Ecommerce issues in the country. Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. alternative payment method was introduced to their customers, which enables them to pay in cash. They only need to pay up once Lazada delivers their customer's order right in front of their doorsteps.
