Shopping has been a problem for
most people. Not the actually shopping itself but mostly the things that people
encounter along their shopping. It requires time, energy and even money on
extra expenses on travel. This truly is a side hiccup that not everyone is very
enthusiastic when facing these challenges. Good thing that it can all be avoided
nowadays. Traditional shopping has been around for a while and it helps that
online shopping is now an option as well. Time won't matter anymore for people
who want to shop at their discretion. These are the people who work during
unusual hours. These are the customers who work during at night and are asleep
all day. They can visit the mall only during mall hours that it is ironically
closed. Traditional malls are just not available for them. They only visit
traditional malls during their day off at work.
For people who work under this
weird schedule, it is really hard for them to get access on these traditional
malls. Good news for them - online shopping is now an available option for
them. A lot of the offline business models are being translated to online. It
has only begun to expand last year in the country. It happened when Lazada
Online mall arrived in the country. They are one of the first online stores to
grace the local online market. This online mall is also available in other
South East Asia countries. The Ecommerce industry had a spike once they arrived
in South East Asia compared to the previous years. The local online scene was
never the same again after they arrived. Competition in the local Ecommerce
industry was really low that it made sense for their arrival in the country.
They are actually facing a problem on how they will convince the local online
users to try their store.
Most online users are not a fan
of online payment that's why online users are hard to convert to customers. This
is actually hard for online users as their credit card details might get
exposed. The majority of the population here in the country doesn’t even have
their own credit cards. It's because of this limitation on why Ecommerce never
took off in the country. It doesn't mean that the local Internet users are
unaware of online transactions. We don't really consider reward initially;
instead we jump to risk immediately. It's just plain and simple: we don't trust
online malls right away. First thing that comes to our mind is that it is only
a scam for us. These two alone can cause bug problems for online investors in
Ecommerce in the country. These two Ecommerce problems in the country were
single handedly solved by the Philippines' Online Shopping Mall. Their C.O.D.
or Cash on Delivery alternative payment method as introduced to the local
online users. They don't necessarily require their customers to pay right away
only until they received their order package in real time.
