Lazada: Getting your shopping done in online

I’ve always thought that there will come a time were people would rely online back when Internet first arrived in the country. Initially, they were able to translate communication to online through free calls and social media websites. These immediately eliminated the long distance call industry. The same goes for libraries and encyclopedias where information can be accessed right at your fingertips. Then came the arrival of shopping in online. But initially, we ask ourselves if we could really rely on online shopping over our conventional traditional shopping? It will probably unacceptable to most consumers to consider online shopping if they were given these options. For customers to even consider online shopping, the online mall should have great credibility before it can eventually be considered. Most of us are worried about getting scammed in online that's why we try avoiding shopping online at most times. Since the majority of the population don't have their own credit cards, online shopping is even hard for most people.

Moreover, it makes first time online shopping prospects more doubtful in proceed with their online shopping. Actually, there is certain measurement that customers conduct like if the online stores have a safe and secured line for credit card transactions. A lot of these are weighed in before customers proceed with online shopping. A lot changed in online shopping when Lazada arrived in the local Ecommerce industry a year ago. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall brought a solution for the local online market upon their arrival in the country. There are two main issues that the local Ecommerce was facing which both were covered by their payment method solution. It is what they called Cash on Delivery or C.O.D.

It will allow customers to feel secured when they deal with them. Credit card details of customers doesn't need to be surrendered and will allow them to try their website without risking too much on their end. How will this help customers make their shopping easier? The local online consumers can visit their website and check their huge selections. Customers who already know what to buy on the website won't need to pay it right away. Unlike conventional online stores, customers are not required to pay upfront before their orders are processed.

Customers can easily relax once they provided their delivery details and wait for the arrival of their orders which takes about two to five days. Once a customer gets their order upon delivery, it is only the time they are subject to pay in cash in real time. This may also be free delivery as long customer exceeds the one thousand pesos delivery value. It's very assuring for customers that they can keep their money up until their orders arrived at their home. It is actually surprising that an online store is willing to have this setup with their customers, which is very unconventional. It makes it way easier for customers to trust shopping online as they don’t need to commit too much as compared with Lazada where they give the advantage of the deal to their customers.
