Lazada Philippines: Getting tired of traditional shopping?

Don’t we get tired of walking around a mall only to realize later on that what we are looking for is not available? What is worst is that by the time you moved on to another mall, a big chunk of your energy and time has been already wasted. This was usually our issue in the past were Ecommerce still did not exist in the country. Online shopping is a very helpful alternative for people in address their shopping needs. It gives customers more in control of their time.

They live in lifestyle where they prefer to live life at night. Usually, these are the people who work on night shift. Their lifestyle is unusual since they are only free when malls are actually closed. It's really hard for them to visit traditional malls as they please. They can only visit these offline malls during holidays or weekend. It's more complicated for these consumers unlike if they work on a normal time shift. It makes it easier for them nowadays since they now have online shopping.

Most of the businessmen are now shifting to online business. This only happened last year in the Philippines. When Lazada arrived in the Philippines, other online malls were established as well. They are actually one of the first online malls established in the country. They were also launched in other South East Asia countries. After they arrived in the country, Ecommerce immediately grew exponentially. It was hard not to notice their influence in local online market. Actually, it's only logical to establish an online mall in the Philippines since there is not much of a competition. It's more hard for them on how to tell local online users to check their lazada.com.ph website.

One of the factors why online users were hard to lure is because they are not familiar with online payment. It's quite hard to shared confidential personal details such as credit card details since it leave us prone from getting stolen by hackers. It is actually more difficult for them since most of the online users don't have credit cards. Payment setup is one of the factors why Ecommerce never grew fast compared to other countries it reached success earlier. It doesn't mean local online users are not familiar with online payment.

With online malls, we usually look to their risk rather than the reward that may come. In essence, we just don't trust dealing with online malls especially for our first time attempt. For us, all online malls are just put up to scam local Internet users. It is what makes Ecommerce very hard to penetrate for online businesses. Good thing that Lazada came up with a solution to solve both of these issues. They were able to come up with Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method to their customers. This allows local online users to pay only after they receive their orders and not upfront, which is the usual setup with online malls.
