Lazada Philippines Review: Making a choice in online vs. offline shopping

All of us are used to doing shopping on traditional malls. Probably how are parents raised us have something to do with it. It’s something that was unintentionally transferred to us since that’s how our parents showed us whenever they want to shop. This has been our way of doing shopping but recently changed when technology and Internet came to our lives. Now, shopping can be done in online which to many is more convenient as they won’t need unnecessary waste of time, money and energy compared when they shop on traditional malls. However, is it possible that online shopping can actually justify our needs in our shopping needs over traditional shopping? There's a high probability that majority of the answers would have been no if this was asked just a couple of years ago.

Credibility is always considered by customers if ever they will be shopping on an online mall. Online malls are actually scary to deal with since a there's a chance some of them are just scams and frauds. Another thing to consider on why online shopping is hard for us is that most of us don't have credit cards. It makes it clear to everyone on why local customers really have a hard time trying online shopping. It's automatic for online stores to have a secured line for their online credit card transactions. These are the factors that customers assess before deciding if they precede in shopping online. A lot of changes in online happened ever since Lazada arrived in the country a couple of years ago.

Once Lazada arrived in the country they have a solution on how they will the local Ecommerce grow in the country. An alternative payment method was introduced to solve most of the Ecommerce issues in the Philippines. They called it Cash on Delivery or simply known by many as C.O.D. This online setup allows customers to trust them and feel secured right away. By having this option, customers are not required to surrender their credit card details and can try their service without risking too much. So how does this work with online customers? Their local online customers can go directly to their website with its huge selection. Customers don't need to worry that they need to pay upfront once they know what to buy on the website.

Customers who selected Cash on Delivery as their payment method won't be required to pay upfront before their orders are processed for delivery. Once the customers provide their shipment details, customers can relax and wait for it between two to five days. Local online customers will only be required to pay cash once Lazada delivers their order and handed over the ordered items to them. Customers can avail free delivery if their orders go beyond one thousand pesos. This kind of setup enables customers to be at ease since they will only be liable to pay only after orders are received by the customer. Seeing customers having an advantage over online stores is very unusual when you come to think of it.
