Online - to shop or not to shop?

As an Internet user, we have adjusted our lifestyle over time. A lot of the usual offline activities that can be done online, are not mostly done in online. It is expected since in online, it makes a lot of process easier and faster. There were times when we go to offices just to do registration. Now, you can do it at the comfort of your home. That is how it made our lives easier. Another good example is shopping where we don’t need to catch up on mall hours or go through the rigorous process of visiting each boutique and decide which of the item we saw will be bought by us. However, will online shopping be able to level with the satisfaction we expect from traditional shopping? A lot of consumers might reject online shopping if this was asked a few years back. Online mall's credibility always matter to customers if ever they will consider online shopping.

Scams and frauds in online usually happens, which leads online customers to not rely on online shopping at all. Another thing to consider on why online shopping is hard for us is that most of us don't have credit cards. It makes it clear to everyone on why local customers really have a hard time trying online shopping. It's always important for customers that online stores they are buying from have a strong and secured line. Most of these details are highly considered first before customers proceed to an online mall. The local Ecommerce industry had upward shift ever since Lazada came into the picture last year in the Philippines. Lazada arrived in the country with a solution to solve the Ecommerce issues in the Philippines. Their alternative payment method solved both of the major issues in the local Ecommerce. The Philippines Online Shopping Mall calls it Cash on Delivery or simply C.O.D. It makes customers feel that they are secured when shopping on their website.

No longer will customers be required to submit their credit card details and can try their service without having to risk their end. So how does this work with online customers? Their local online customers can go directly to their website with its huge selection. Customers that selected what they want to buy in the website are necessarily required to pay upfront. Customers can just leave their details and not pay right away if they order from their website since all they need to do is leave their shipment address and the name of the recipient. Once customers provide their delivery details, they can now just relax and wait for their orders to arrive at their home. Upon delivery and as order are handed over to local online customer, that's the only time they are required to pay cash in real time. As long as it exceeds one thousand pesos, delivery fee will be covered by them. This allowed customers to have assurance that they are safe since they get to keep their money up until it is delivered to them. Actually, it is rare to see that an online customer have the advantage over online stores.
